A: Innovation Career Academy is part of the curriculum of Achievement House Cyber Charter School, a Pennsylvania public online charter school. There is no cost to families to attend Achievement House. We provide students with the computer equipment they need as well as internet reimbursement. We also send any supplies required for Innovation Career Academy courses.

A: To be eligible for enrollment at Achievement House Cyber Charter School, students must be residents of Pennsylvania in grades 7-12. Students can enroll up to the age of 20 and can finish the school year after turning 21. However, students cannot enroll in the Achievement House if they are 21 or older. Innovation Career Academy courses are elective courses students can enroll in as part of the Achievement House curriculum.

A: Career Pathways are collections of courses that are related to a particular career field. Students can select a single pathway in a career field that interests them, or explore courses in multiple pathways to learn more about a variety of career fields.

A: Yes! ICA courses are open to all students no matter their academic history. At AHCCS we believe that all students should have the opportunity to explore the innovative courses that ICA offers.

A: Yes! While a strong math and science background will provide a smoother transition into the ICA courses, it is not a requirement for admission. At AHCCS we believe that all students can be successful in ICA courses.

A: Many students are unsure of an exact pathway that they are interested, and that is OK! Students may take courses from different pathways to explore their interests.

A: No. Many of the ICA courses to use physical materials, but these materials and supplies will be mailed to your home at no cost to you.

A: Yes! In addition help during the teacher’s office hours, we also have mentors and homeroom coaches who can engage with you to ensure that you will not fall through the cracks and get the assistance you may need to be successful.
