I am excited to teach computer science in a cyber environment, having taught technology for the past 15 years in a traditional brick and mortar school setting. I enjoy creating projects that include authentic problems where possible and am looking forward to working with AHCCS’ students!
Personal Bio
I am a dyed in the wool Pennsylvanian – love the area, the seasons, the deer, and the beautiful rolling hills. Originally born in West Philadelphia, I’ve been in the suburbs, out to Altoona, and back to suburban Philadelphia. My background includes many years in corporate business, small business, and for the past 15 years, teaching technology. I have a tortoise shell cat named Leilie (pronounced Lay-lee), I play violin in an orchestra and sing in a choir and Oratorio Society in my spare time. I also enjoy cooking and serving at two shelters in southwest Philadelphia and Bethlehem on holidays throughout the year.
My business experience includes working for Mobil Oil Corporation, Roy F. Weston, Inc., and FAO, Inc. in various financial and corporate planning roles.
