I became a teacher because I have a passion for working with students of varying needs. I love to help students overcome barriers, learn to self-advocate, believe in themselves, and ultimately, reach their fullest potential.

I believe that preparing students to be informed, engaged citizens in an ever-changing world is critical to our future. That is why I chose to enter the teaching profession and, more importantly, why I chose to teach Social Studies.

I believe that every student should have an equal opportunity to succeed in the classroom. It was this belief that helped lead me into teaching in the first place.

I became a Teacher because I have a passion to help students who feel like giving up and inspire them to reach for success and become confident in themselves. The best thing about Achievement House is that there is a place for everyone no matter your skills or confidence level.

The best thing about cyber education is that we get to creatively personalize instruction in live classes and meet students’ individualized needs. I also love meeting families outside of school and bridging the gap between home and school.

I chose to become a teacher because I enjoy explaining the how and why to someone who doesn’t know. I was always told by my peers that I had a way of explaining things that were very easy to understand, even when the material was very difficult.
